As a blog writer I watch a lot of documentaries.  Many of which are disturbing and even distressing.  We often repeat the saying “Art imitates life”.  Actually Oscar Wilde said “Life imitates art far more than art imitates life.”  Whichever is the case I find that factual documentaries sharpen our perspective of the world.  They document life.  Many documentaries I watch report on injustices suffered by ordinary people.  But I cannot remember being more affected by a story than that of Steven Avery.
